Network behavior
EnjoyPDF does not use the network when processing documents. The current version has only two kinds of network activity, both started by you: downloading language packs, and cloud AI translation (which sends the text to be translated to the provider you chose). Update checks and error reports are planned and not implemented yet.

Before a planned network feature ships, this page will list its exact fields and a switch to turn it off. Until then the software makes no automatic connections.
Features that never use the network
- Opening, recognizing, finding, replacing, redacting and saving PDFs and images
- Read-back verification and residue checks
- Reading and writing the recognition cache, project files and settings
- Project autosave and crash recovery
Check it yourself
You can block all outbound connections for this software in Windows Firewall and then go through find, replace and redaction from start to finish; all document features should work normally. You can also watch network connections with Wireshark or Resource Monitor; only the requests listed in the table above should appear.

Enterprise environments
Central management (for example disabling cloud AI providers for everyone) is planned and not available in the current version. The current version makes no automatic connections. Supported features and languages →
Try it first with your own file
After downloading, open a scan, enter a keyword and click "Find". Finding, replacing and saving need no network connection.
